That looks very interesting! I am trying to drop a few pounds of winter lol so the dates seem fairly sugary – but I am excited to try the avocado fritters. Thanks Nathalie

You’re welcome Radiance! Let me know what you think after you make it. :)

Thanks, Nathalie! Those fritters look pretty darn tasty. I don’t have a dehydrator, but will have to give them a try in the oven.

This really looks like a winner. Thanks for sending the video.

Hey Natalie. Cute video. Love the Magic Bullet. I used mine so much that it died back in the fall. Thank goodness my inlaws got me a new one for Christmas. I was lost without it.

You’re very welcome Naomi! Let me know how they turn out in the oven too. :)

Shannon Marie: This is my second Magic Bullet too, I think raw foods can be tough on these little appliances… but they work so well! :)

Hey Patty – if you clicked the little play button and nothing is happening, I can upload the video to another site so you can watch it. Let me know if it’s still not working!

hi nathalie–can’t wait to try these! if i don’t have a dehydrator how long and what temp should i put them in the oven for?

  10. #10. admin on April 15th, 2010 at 5:59 pm

Good question! I’d say lowest temp your oven will go… and then see how “crunchy/crispy” you like them. I don’t have a number for ya there, sorry.

Holy crap! These are really really yummy! And that is saying something, because I am not a big avocado eater (just the occasional guacamole). My 6 year old likes them too :) And they are fast and easy. Try them today!

Hey Nathalie. I am really looking forward to making these – the recipe sounds amazing! However, no video shows up when I navigate to this page. Can you send me a link to one that works, if possible? Also, I originally got the recipe from your “Snacks to Silence Your Stomach” ebook but it doesn’t have a dehydrating time listed. What do you recommend?

    Thanks!
    Brian

Hi Brian – Here’s a link to the Youtube version, which should work regardless: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUAp1wBFaqw

I recommend a few hours dehydration time, but it will depend on how thick you cut the avocado too! Enjoy. :)
